Singer Penny Lang hosts “Soup & Song” at St. Andrew’s the third Saturday of the month (check the Calendar for dates). Beginning at 5pm, these informal get-togethers include a bowl of soup, music and poetry.

Pender Harbour Community Improvement Society

The PHCIS participates with other groups to raise funds for community improvement projects in Pender Harbour and Egmont.
Pender Harbour Community Club

This group manages the Pender Harbour Community Hall, offers hall rentals and organizes events including swap meets, Pender Harbour May Day, Spring Bazaar and Thursday night Bingo.
President, Doug Davis; Vice-president, Jill Wagner; Secretary, Gwen Walwyn; Directors: Heather Brown, Muriel Cameron, Sunny Charbonneau, Marlene Cymbalist, Ron Cymbalist, Lori Fielding and Sarah Kelly.
Meetings are held monthly September to June and the AGM is in February. Membership is $5 (single) or $10 (family).
Pender Harbour Lions Club

The Pender Harbour Lions Club manages Lions Park, holds the annual Midsummer Festival, Pancake Breakfast fundraisers, and provides a bursary to a Pender Harbour Secondary School grad.
In April 2007, a Provincial Government grant of $315,000 for development of a playing field was announced, and the Bonfire Festival is scheduled at Lions Park in August.
Meetings are held twice a month at Lions Hall on Hwy. 101 in Kleindale.
Rotary Club of Pender Harbour

The Rotary Club of Pender Harbour holds several fundraisers such as the annual Wine Festival and Art Auction, and is active in local events including the Pender Harbour Show & Shine. President Rick Harmer invites local and visiting Rotarians are to join weekly meetings at Garden Bay Pub.

Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 112

Our Legion was established in 1947 and, in 1974, constructed their own building in Madeira Park.
It operates a bar and kitchen, provides hall rentals, donates a bursary, provides DVA (Dept. of Veteran Affairs) referralsand is home to the Legion Pipe Band. Our Legion’s annual events include a Fishing Derby, Ladies Night, Robbie Burns Night and Remembrance Day Parade.
Meetings are held every month but July and August. Richard Frappier is president.

Women’s Connection

Empty nesters and other women meet for lunches, outings and to hear guest speakers. Meetings are every second and fourth week at the Music School. $2 drop-in fee.
